Gregory James is a writer with a background in performance, screenwriting, and film editing. His work often explores psychological fracture, moral ambiguity, and the unseen consequences of trauma.

ADVERSE EFFECT began as a screenplay and evolved into his debut novel, allowing the story’s emotional and psychological layers to be explored more fully on the page. His prose reflects a cinematic sensibility, emphasizing pacing, visual clarity, and character-driven tension.

Gregory's screenplay work has been recognized with Best Screenplay at the 2015 Portland Indie Film Awards. He currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
